From my research I found some really simple layouts that had
a lot of white space, minimal, clear and easy to follow. For my leaflet I want
a very minimal design that’s modern and easy follow and just type.
My designs are very rough sketches just to get my ideas down
on paper.
For the from cover the idea I think of taking forward is the
idea with the title in the centre of the page with a red slash going from one
corner to the other, Im a big fan of posters with a slash on them they look
really modern and that’s the look im going for my leaflet.
For page 1 and 2 im think of creating something that goes
over both pages. My first idea is a mind map with words coming of like type,
stock, size and layout thing you would think of when working on a project.
My second idea is a arrow with A to B on them, the reason
for this is because it the easies and simplest way of explaining what the
design process going from A to B meaning going from the brief to the final
outcome.
I’m more for the second Idea as it could be made really
simple and modern.
Pages 3 to 6 the inside pages, the idea im going to
defiantly going to try on the computer and I feel it will work well. Is the
idea of using big numbers to make it easy to follow each stage of the process
and because the layout is really clear with a lot of room around each step as I
want as much white space as I can get.
Back cover I want to keep it really minimal with type on the
back maybe saying six stages to design in red in the centre of the page or
around the page. I’m going to experiment more for the back cover on the
computer.
