From brainstorming some ideas with a Photographer on Level 5 Katie Bealey contacted me, I have worked with her on other projects and we have created some really good work and we also work well together. She contacted me about a project that she is doing and it is very similar to Studio brief 02 apart from she has to collaborate with someone. I agreed to help as I thought this could help me with my project, we meet up and started to brainstorm we came up with a lot of issues. One of the ideas that stood out to us was the problem with taking photos on the underground, we thought this idea was a great choice as not many people know you need a permit to take photos and to publish the images and the prices are very expensive to get a permit, also we both have had friends that have been told to stop taking photos on the underground. It’s also a issue that has never been brought up or a campaign has never been made for the issue. Also looking at other issues around taking photos on the underground like terrorism.
The idea is to create a campaign that promotes photography on the
underground, lowers the price of a permit to make it more accessible for the public, to make the process of getting the permit easier, possibly to expand the permit to all London transport, lets the public know you need a
permit as most people don't know about the permit and to create a campaign that links with a creative charity to raise money.

From looking at the main website on TFL its not really clear or easy to understand, it seems to be difficult to get a permit a lot of contacting and a lot of rules. to would defiantly put people of from trying to get a permit and also the price are very expensive.
To start We are going to start by contacting TFL to find out more information about these issues and to possible identify some new issues. and get an idea about the permits and how they work, what would happen if you didn't have a permit and much more question. this will help a lot with finding out more about the film and photography permits.
