The idea is to use photography to represent the song and artist, images have been used for decades on album cover and used on all different genres of music from Rap to Rock music. images are a great way to express the musics feelings and vibes and also to show the style of the music.
From the research i found some really great album cover with images on them, the look really bold but also get you think about what going on in the image and get you thinking about the image and music. From the research the style that make the image look old and used is a great look and something that would work really well on the album covers. Also the sharpe looking images from Calvin Harris's album covers also look good. Once the images are taken i will experiment on different ways the images can be, playing with them on Photoshop to find out the best outcome and looking at the size of the image playing around with full bleed images and having a boarder around the image.
