OUGD503- Studio Brief 01 D&AD Monotype final posters

These are the final posters that will be submitted, didn't want to do too many however they came out really well so they should be all submitted. In the D&AD briefing it says "Remember your end goal. Make it bold. Make it powerful. Make a difference" These posters hits each element of that sentence, laughing gas is a big problem in the UK at the moment and also in Europe. As its such a big problem you would think you would see more campaigns trying to stop it however you don't. This subject will make my submission standout from others also the use of good photography and type will make it stand out even more.

The image and type posters are bold, powerful and will make a differences. All 4 posters have came out so well, the image and type combination has worked really effectively. The adding of the skull get across straight away that is a danger poster and that its not a good positive subject. The colouring of the type and also the image is great it gives it a 3D and textured look. The typeface choice is bold, clear and a formal perfect for this awareness poster. The three typefaces have worked great together and has keep the poster creative but also formal this is what I wanted to achieve a poster that looks creative and unique but formal and serious.

From the development i couldn't decide where to place the body text, so i asked some of my peers and they all agreed that text in the corner was the best lace for it, as it the spacing around it worked and it also makes you look all over the poster to read everything.
