The book is designed my Lucienne Roberts, a very simple design
with just type on the front very similar to most textbooks. The cover uses different
shades of green similar to the in sided of the book a lot of colour used, It
successful because it simple and clear and has a good layout however of a book
on graphic design it could be more creative and exciting the text could have
been laid out creative.
Also the two rectangles block look a bit random and the
front cover would probably look better without them.
However the just type cover is the best type of cover for
this book as it contains so much information from lots of different areas so 1
image couldn’t represent the whole book. The colour of the book is too dark
could of used a brighter type colour to make the title standout more from the
dark purple. Also the type on spine could be moved down more as I feel it too
close to the front cover on the book.
