From the cirt the idea I needed to develop and improve the
most was the circles. I decided to create an idea I came up with in the idea
process part, I came up with this idea from the video the woman in the video
was reflected and repeated in the mirror. So I created a triangle shape with
other triangles in it to make it more complex as people in crit felt the circle
shapes was too simple, I repeated triangles like the women in video, it relates
to the song but it doesn’t give it away.
From the triangle I decided to create a pattern that could be reflected with a mirror half way across and the same image would be in the mirror. Similar to video with the women in the mirror, I decided to keep the colour dull and not too bold and used the same colour just different shades as I didn’t want it to be bold and too much going on.
I played around with the mask trying different layouts,
colours, shape and medias. I used marble ink on the mask to create a more
creative mask however most people in the class as used marble ink so I didn’t
want to copy or look similar to other peoples. I felt I didn’t come out will
the shapes too a lot away from mask and it look very similar to clean bandits
album cover designs. The second mask does work but it missing that white space I
like I could make it smaller but then the eyes wouldn’t look as effective.
