For my research I found that the best way to create an album
cover is to not try and focus on the song a lot of album covers don’t relate to
the song. So I have tried to focus on parts of the song but tried to not make
it too obvious but also look at the name ‘The chemical brothers’
I started of looking at the song lyrics and also the video,
the video is very trippy with lots of repeated patterns so I looked a patterns
and also illusions and design some ideas with shape and also illusions, also
looked at some of objects in the video like the clock time was shown a lot in
the video and also I think it what they are talking about in the song.
I then focused on the chemical brothers because there’s two
of them I thought the design will need to have two objects in it. The first
thing that come to my head when think about chemicals and chemistry is a gas
mask. With the gas mask I knew I could do a lot of different thing with it on
the computer, and also could in corporate the two brother with to masks and I also
could create a trippy pattern to go with the video or included some of the objects from the video.
