The final publication was a success it came out really and
professional. The idea of making the publication on the letters of the
name was a good concept and gives the book meaning and more than just images of
letters, The three publication creating one was a spontaneous idea that came
out right and works well with the concept and the book look unique and could be
sold in a book shop like village. The crit in this project was a big decider on
what route to go down and what one to compete and helped a lot in this project.
The layout of the book gives the images more excitement and looks more create,
it make each pages unique and really makes the pages pop out and stand out. The
minimal layout really compliments the images and also the text, The stock also
add excitement the different types of stock gives the book textures and makes
it more tactile also having three publication give it a unique look and a more
hands on. The simple grey cover really stands out the minimal design when put
next to each other really work and looks very creative. The crit really help at
creating that cover and improving it. The bold colourful red strap holding
every together just finishes of the book and pushes the type out and make it
more legible. Overall the whole publication works so well and every little
detail adds to it and improves the copper staple is a little design but they
really look bold a different from a standard staple publication and give its
more to look at everything on the publication has be created and designed and
thought about, if one change had to be made was maybe add a black outline of a
fish to the strap would look bold and stand out like the type on it and also
get a grey stock that can hold the ink from the printer better.
