Summer brief
For my summer brief I decided to do
something that I haven’t done before but really wanted to try and do, I wanted
to create ink marble effect on paper.
The task was to create an alphabet that
each letter represented you something you like or don’t like or maybe something
you done.
I started by using YouTube to find out how
you create this marble effect.

to do marbling)
Once I found out how to create this effect I
started to make some A4 marble designs to use, I used coloured inks that would
make each one stand out from one another.
I then scan the marble A4 paper on to my computer
and placed them on Illustrator and add the type, the typeface I used was “Old
Sans Black” I used a bold font so it would stand out from the black ink.
From peers crit I got feed back about the
inks I used and that I should of used more different colour inks to make them
stand out from each other and not look the same, I agree with my peers if I did marbling again I would defiantly use white and other colours.
