I developed the ‘O’ with lines as it was one I felt could be improved. I made the line more thick and more of a triangle shape I wanted thicker I go with the thickness of Futura. I also developed the flame and made it simpler and clearer so it could be used as a typeface. I improved the river one made the ‘G’ more flowing and made it looked like the river meander has eroded and reconnected to the river.
I made some more ideas from my ideas I tried to create the IBM logo, the broken up looks like it’s moving and also aerodynamic because to move fast it need to be aerodynamic. I looked at the sports equipment and it was also an idea someone said in the crit to use sport equipment and it came out really well and it represents active. I played around with over lapping shape and also using shading to show movement and being active it came out well but I’m not to sure if it could be used as a body text they are more of a display typefaces.
