The Brief
The module will be taught through weekly workshops sessions and timetabled studio sessions. That will look at type, image, visual literacy and visual research.
The aim of the brief is help me to understand design principles and visual language, develop me visual vocabulary and establish personally appropriate approach to the broader uses of type and image within your design practice.
We will have two different briefs to complete. Brief 1 is "WHAT IS VISUAL LITERACY?", Brief 2 is " WHAT IS A BOOK?".
Are first task was to collect 3 different fonts 10cm x 10cm that are distinctly different characteristics, and cut into individual squares.
I decided the 3 fonts i will use are Gill Sans, Didot, Century.
