OUGD503- Studio Brief 02 Collaboration Bottle Designs

From the sketches of the layout came mine and Dan's interpretation. Overall as a group we are pleased with the way the bottles look. The back type on a white label continue with the minimal and neutral design aesthetic that is carried out all the way through the design of the bottles.

The label uses small type to talk about the product itself and the ingredients, just like a medical drug package would do.

The reason we chose black and white for the labels and amber for the bottles is because none of those colours tie in with stereotypes that direct to either gender, for example going back to those old fashioned rules of pink is for girls and blue is for boys.

The final outcome is a minimalistic style hair products that are neutral for both genders. With the use black and white colour not communicating to one sex over the other and they layout of the type that resembles medical prescription boxes.
