from my mind map the two ideas i like are a book or a booklet on type a simple guide on typefaces, type anatomy and layout because when i started i did really have any idea about type and it was difficult to understand.
my seconded one i like is a cook booklet that could be in a welcome pack and halls or at LCA uni, a simple cheap cook book small so it could be taken to the shops so don't have to write down all the ingredients. the book would only contain type as its one of the main things i have learned this year is type, layout and how to make publications and also how to cook.
out of the two i feel the cook book one would be good as i really enjoy cooking, type, layout and making publication so feel i would have fun and i would enjoy doing it. and having a cook book at the start of the year would really help me with cook and eating healthy. the book would be in a welcome pack that you get from the uni during freshers week.
