OUDG406- Studio Brief 03 - Collaborative Practice final

From are development we changed are poster a lot we removed the line and changes the colour. We used a really bold blue to make it standout from other posters and also to standout on the street and catch peoples attention. we restricted ourselves to there colours (including stock) as our book covers were 3 colours also, which kept a theme of consistency and link between the work exhibited. This kept the branding simple and memorable.
We also covered up more of the typefaces on are work, We wanted to show the literal side of coving up something, so we decided to use a subtle element that could be applied throughout the branding, this was through covering up parts of the letters, but not all of them to help legibility. This simple idea was inspired by swiss designer Armin Hofmann, who in one his posters covered up parts of type.
once we came up with a really good poster design we applied the same design and concept on everything, we create name tags, booklet, map, invites and flyers.
