OUGD505- Studio Brief 02 - Permit Research

For the physical permit it needs to be small, strong and water proof. The size needs to be big enough to have all the information needed.

INFORMATION ON TAG:
-Name/ D.O.B.
-Permit type
-Start/Expiry date
-Barcode
-Logo

Designs that could help in creating this would be tickets, suitcase labels, bank cards, IDs and even fishing permits.

From looking at some of the designs we could use the suitcase design could work but on a smaller scale, the idea of a wrap around label could work as it could be wrapped around the cameras strap. The material for the label will need to be a strong glossy stock as it can't break and the glossy stock would keep it water proof similar to most fishing permits. Also from looking at the information on the tickets and permits they come with a customer number this is something that we could use on our labels.

BACK-UP PERMIT:
-Registered to an Oyster card (if owned)
-Smartphone (receipt)

In the case of a default in the tag- breakage, gets damaged by water, falls off- customers will be supplied with an e-receipt, this will have a barcode that staff can scan to check if the permit is valid.  Also there will be the opportunity for the customer to register their oyster to have their permit connected to their oyster card.  This means there is no excuse for photographer to not have a permit on them, and in that case would be fined.
