In my poster research I have look at
posters and brands that’s I would be interested in and
also look at different types of posters ones with just type on them and also
ones with just images on them and ones with both. I have also looked at clothing
brands posters as it relates to my research on ‘How shop are making you spend’.
Clothing brands posters can be really simple most posters just contain their logo or their logo and the produced they sell and are trying to get you to buy.
These quotes gave me the idea of creating a quote to stop people spend money on things they don't need and also making them aware of the tactics they use to get you to buy things. Using a quote will help my create the just type poster and also and the one with image and type and once i have image that represents the quote that will be used on the picture only one.
The coffee and cigarette poster is how i want my image and type poster to be similar to where the text is represented in the image as well and is clear and simple to see what its about, it would help me create all 3 posters and they would work in a set.
The just type poster is similar to how i want my poster to be, a simple quote in big bold font with 2 bolds colours to standout, clear to read and also get them message across.
Looking at shopping sign its a clear and simple why of showing an image on the poster. people walking past would hopefully would be able to look at the image and understand what i'm talking about on my posters, i am going to try and apply a simple image like theses ones to my posters.

More expensive brands like Gucci use images
of models, these types of posters are saying if you wear Gucci you will look
like them.
The
3 posters I like are the Stussy,North Face and vans all 3 are really simple designs
but you can clearly see what brand the posters for, vans with their classic van
shoes, North face with mountains and the slogan ‘never stop exploring’ and
Stussy with its well known t-shirt design and logo.
The problem with the posters and most posters
in general to understand the poster you need to know the brand and what brand
is, if you didn’t know the Stussy logo you would think it would be for something
else not a clothing company.
I also looked into music artist I like i'm a
big fan of DJS and I have always like the layout and the look of their posters.
When a DJ is a resident DJ at a club like AWELL & INGROSSO playing weekly
with different supporting guests each week they need a layout that can look the
same each week but have different information on like date time and supporting
guest. Also every poster with has something that represents them so their fans will
know that’s a poster for their favorite DJ, Like Swedish House Mafia and their
3 dots.

These posters how i want mine type only to be simple and clear. i like the layout of the 'JOT OR TITTLE' like how they have played around with the type face and i also like the use of the different shads of blue. The 'COURIERS MUST REPORT TO RECEPTION' is really clear and simple and a nice layout, type placed in centre and covers almost all the black making it hard to miss also the choice of you the black makes it really standout. 
I looked in to shopping bags from high street clothing brands i found that high street bags are designed in two ways either with lots of different shapes or patterns used on cheap materials or really simple designs with just the brand name or logo but very high quality materials used to create the bag.
