OUDG403- Studio Brief 02 Development of typeface and grid

I started to develop my letterform in illustrator. From my cirt a feedback I got was try and use the same amount of lines on each letter, I try this and it came out really well compared to the original one. It looked like they worked more as a set I also lined each line up so when the typeface was touching each other all the lines would look like it was one continuous line. 

Having lines inline with each other make the typeface represent ACTIVE much better. And developing my grid will be easier as everything is lined up. When I was creating my typeface I was using the rule tool to line up each line and where to place each one this became my grid for the lines, all I need to do is add this to my grid that fits all the letters and it will become my grid system.
