OUDG403- Final poster Crit and final outcome evaluation

For my final outcome my research and my ideas and development really helped me create my final three posters.
The research helped to create the images and to come up with the idea of using a quote, my ideas and development helped me to create a layout and image and what colours to use.

My development was the part that changed and created my final, developing my ideas on Illustrator aloud me to try different layouts, colours and type easily and clearly. I will use Illustrator in over projects to develop them from now on it a really effective why to see what work and what doesn’t.

In my research the main part that help me create my final three was looking at a website called www.buynothingday.co.uk helped me come up with the ideas to use a quote and also money symbols in my words, the second bit of research that helped me was looking at clothing brand posters and also shop signs. These gave me the idea of keeping everything simple and using a simple images to get the message across easily and clearly. The final bit of research that helped was looking at high street clothing brands, as that was what my research was mainly about in studio brief 03 shop tactics in clothing brands.   


My final three poster I very pleased with they came out how I wanted them to be clear and simple I feel it got the message across in all three poster, the message is watch out for the shops tactics and also limit excessive shopping. All three works as a set, all have the same message, image, layout and typeface. I feel that I have achieved what was needed for this brief.


Final Crit 

I got some good feedback from my peers about all three posters.

·      Clever use if the colour red.

·      Good message, very clear.

·       Strong image makes the message clear

·      Good combination

·      Perhaps a better composition needed

·      Could have done more detailed coins

·      Really simple and effective


·      High street brands logo on coin.
