Where would the public see the adverts?
The printed adverts like posters, flyers and leaflets will be mostly located on the underground but also placed in universities and also gallery around and in London this will defiantly well help make the public aware of the campaign as thousands of people a day use the underground. and also thousands of students would see the adverts in there university campuses.
The Digital adverts the main one will be instagram with the hashtage this is a platform that thousands of people use every day, the campaign could expand on to other social media platforms.
Locations of the printed posters on the underground?
The locations for the underground advertisements would on the tube, billboards, escalators, on the train, station offices, newspapers. the adverts could also be placed on other TFL transport like Taxis or buses.
Target Audience
The target audience for the campaign is tourists to accommodate for then there is a week permit perfect for a tourists on holiday in london. Students and also professional photographers, the students would be able to see poster in the uni if studying in London or around London and also on instagarm. And also aimed at the general public the poster are around the underground and on the internet for them to see and find out about the permits.
permits
The permit stock choice had to be glossy and a thick stock as this will help any damages to the physical permit. To to make sure the costumer always as a permit even if the physical pone breaks a back up on the smart phone should mean there is no excuse for not having a permit on them while taking photographs. The public would receive There physical permits in the post from TFL and the Digital receipt on an email from TFL.
Flyers
decided to create a single sided A5 flyer with no full bleed meant it could be printed on A4 so the printing costs will be lowered by a lot. and also means this could be mass produced on a large scale. The gloss stock keeps the design clean and also is a thick stock so couldn't be damaged easily.
Leaflet
The A4 leaflet double sided would be a cheaper way to produce a leaflet, to make it easier for mass production i could take the full bleed images away. the leaflets would be located at station offices.
Posters
The poster are printed as A3 but the designs can be scaled up for big billboards and signs and can be scaled down to A4 to possble pace on the escalators. The full bleed images would be more expensive to print than the non bleed posters.
Charity and exhibition
We thought that including a charity would encourage the public to buy into the permits, and it also gives something back rather than just keeping all the profits. Also because its a photography charity it links in with the campaign, which would help get more photographers interested and could showcase their work in the annual exhibition. This also means we could advertise the campaign in a photography gallery that will hopefully get more people involved, promotes the campaign.
We decided that there would be an annual exhibition that would showcase the publics work that had been hashtagged on instagram and professional photographers work, this would entice people to get involved with the campaign.
